The Full Package For CRS

The first of two brand new JCB 407 wheeled loading shovels have been collected from our Bristol depot for CRS Building Supplies by Paul Gibbard, Transport Manager and Chris Lee, Transport Assistant for CRS. These machines will join their existing fleet and Transport Manager, Paul Gibbard had this to say:

“CRS have been using the JCB products for some years, albeit second or third hand units, so when I joined the company 3 years ago, I had the task of restructuring the plant equipment and the servicing of all our machinery. As part of this I had to look at how and who was looking after our small number of JCB Teletruk machines and I found that they were being looked after on an adhoc basis by several fork lift service agents. We were looking at getting more TLT’s into the business and decided to put all the servicing with Holt JCB for all our new units and existing equipment and to set them up on a regular schedule for servicing. We have also set up for all breakdowns to be attended by Holt JCB as they offered a more cost-effective solution and faster turnaround for repairs and reduced down time. Holt JCB provide expert knowledge and understanding of the machines and sourcing the correct JCB parts for our fleet.”

“CRS has seen a large growth in the demand of our loose aggregate and needed to be using a more specific machine for the job, so we looked at several options and the JCB 407 wheeled loader offered the best solution for our requirements and value. We have made use of the great finance options in the purchasing of the two 407’s and backed up the units with a service plan. Holt JCB provide a high level of service for a great British product which is backed up by their very knowledgeable friendly team and I look forward to furthering our relationship between Holt JCB and CRS Building Supplies in the future.”

We wish them every success with their new machinery and look forward to working together with them in the future.
